If WiFi disrupts sleep

WiFi distubs sleep

Now the girl is sleeping well

Sometimes solutions can be quite simple. The parents turn the wireless router off at night and the two year-old daughter sleeping since then through again. The background: Susanna Rubin was with the nerves at the end. Her child woke up in the master bedroom at night nine to ten times screaming. If the family stayed away from home, there was no trouble sleeping. The building biologist initially investigated the area of the bed. There were a few little things to correct. For example, the low-frequency alternating electric fields could be eliminated almost entirely by turning off a circuit. For the electrostatic charging of the bed surface, there was also a solution. The main problem for the sleep was not to be found right in the bedroom.

Protection against electrosmog: Shielded cables, electricity mains decoupler or wall shield?

shielded cable

use shielded cables where possible

Artificially generated electric fields occur in every house. Cause is the power supply voltage that is present in the power lines and electrical equipment, even if the connected device is not in operation. The voltage is 230 volts in private homes, in medium voltage systems 20 kilovolts (kV) and high voltage systems 110, 220 or 380 kV. Electric fields can affect our health. They are, therefore, to reduce as much as possible. What protective measures taken by the private owner, depends on the state of the house: Old building, new construction, multi-family home, rental or own use. Continue reading

BioInitiative Report 2012

BioInitiative2012
The BioInitiative Working Group concluded in 2007 that existing public safety limits for electro-magnetic-fields (EMF) were inadequate to protect public health, and agreed that new, biologically-based public safety limits were needed five years ago. The BioInitiative Report was been prepared by more than a dozen world-recognized experts in science and public health policy; and outside reviewers also contributed valuable content and perspective.
